Individual Details

Patrick (Paddy) KENNELLY

(Abt 1881 - 1941)

Paddy and his siblings were orphaned as young children. They were raised by their uncle Pats Kennelly and his wife, Ellen, who were trustees of the children's parents' farm. When Paddy came of age, he took over the running of the farm.

Paddy became very skilled in veterinary manipulation and cattle medicine, and developed expertise in dealing with pre- and post-natal complications. As a result he was much in demand in the delivery of cattle, mares, etc.
