Civil records give a birth date of 3 August 1877 for Nora but this is incorrect. When one has differing birth and baptism records one should use the information from the batismal record as births at that time, especially in rural areas, were often not registered until well after the event and incorrect birth dates were sometimes given, either because the exact date was forgotten or to avoid a fine for not registering a birth within the required time limit.

Nora's baptismal sponsors were William Hudson and Johanna Hudson.

Nora died of a cerebral haemorrhage aged 59.
