Individual Details
John (Jay) P. GORDON
(1910 - 8 Nov 1933)
Jay emigrated to England and then, in 1932, he moved to Australia. The Ancestry.com Outward Passenger Lists for the UK tell us that Jay left London for Sydney by steamship on either 18 March or 15 April 1932 (there is a record for him for both voyages). He is described on the passenger lists as a shop assistant. Nineteen months later, in Albury, Jay took his own life by swallowing Lysol. He was 23 years old.
