Joined Royal Canadian Army in 1937 and became a Sergeant.

Was in London during WW2 worked for Royal Canadian Army Service Corps (RCASC) with his office at Victoria Station. His assignment was troop movements.

Lived at 10 Bessborough Mews.

Was stationed at Seattle during the Korean War which is where my parents met.

After returning to Ottawa in 1951, was stationed at No 1 Army Administrative unit on Rideau Street until his retirement in 1959.

With a tiny Army pension and four children, he and my mother started a camera business after purchasing Clavier Film Service and never looked back. She was the brains and he was the social and business contact. They did very well indeed when everyone thought they were completely insane.
