Notes

Isaac Tappin was Married to Mary March ye 27th of March 1691. By Me Samuel Hale. Woodbridge and Vicinity, p. 348Death
The will of Isaac Tappan (Isack Tappen) was written 8 August 1710 and proved 20 March 1710/11. The will includes the following bequests:Son Jacob -- 30 shillings
Son David -- 30 shillings
Son Abraham -- one half of all the lands
Son John -- 30 shillings
Son Benjamin -- the other half of the land
Daughter Elizabeth, wife of John Raullis? -- 14 shilings
Daughters Mary, Hannah, and Cicilia -- each 1 cow and 2 sheep
Wife Mary -- to have the whole estate during her lifetime
Executor -- wife Mary; Samuel Denes and Adam Hude to serve after her death
Witnesses -- George Brown, Edward Crowell, and Elizabeth Lockhart
A report on the will can be found in The Genealogical Magazine of New Jersey, 2005, volume 80, number 1, p. 25.
Elizabeth, David, and Jacob are known to be Isaac's children with Hannah Kent.
Benjamin, Mary, and Abraham are children with second wife Mary (whose identity as Mary March has recently been called into question).
I believe Hannah and John are from the first marriage with Hannah. I am not sure about Cecilia, but she is grouped with the younger daughters, so she is likely a child with Mary. It is also possible that the Hannah in the will is a second Hannah and that Hannah from the first marriage had died earlier.
The oldest son Isaac who married Nancy Wilkinson is not in the will, so he is likely deceased.
