Death
The will of Abraham Tappan mentions his daughter Hannah Bloodgood. In his will he also mentions wife Sarah who was second wife. He mentions daughters Sarah, Mary, Cecil, and Margaret, daughter Hannah Bloodgood, daughter Isabel, sons Benjamin, Asher, Moses, Jacob and John, and a last grouping of sons Isaac, Abraham, and William. It is possible that two of these children (Isabel and Jacob) are from his second marriage. Two of the witnesses are William Dixon and Martha Dixon which raises the issue that his mother-in-law might have been Margaret Dixon rather than Margaret Dix.
