Walter Marshal, 5th Earl of Pembroke was the son of William Marshal, 1st Earl of Pembroke and Isabella de Clare, Countess of Pembroke. He married Margaret de Quincey, daughter of Robert de Quincey and Hawise of Chester, Countess of Lincoln, circa 1242. He died on 24 November 1245.
He succeeded to the title of 5th Earl of Pembroke [E., 1199] on 27 June 1241.
