"My body to be buried in St Peter's church before St Christopher near the grave of Edward Ferrers my wife's brother. To the wardens of the aforesaid church for my burial 6s 8d. To the vicar of St Peter... I wish my mother to have 40s annually for the remainder of her life and my sister 20s annually... My wife is to have my house in which I live and one of m crofts in "Bowgate"... To John Ferrers, junior, 20s and to Thomas Ferrers, his brother, 20s... The remainder of my goods I give and bequeath to my wife Grace and John Ferrers, junior, my executors."
