Maria Waddington was the daughter of William Waddington.2 She married Rt. Rev. Walter Augustus Shirley, son of Reverend Walter Shirley and Alice Newenham, on 4 September 1827.1 She died on 10 January 1859.1
From 4 September 1827, her married name became Shirley.
