Roger de Mowbray, 1st Lord Mowbray was born in 1254.2 He was the son of Roger de Mowbray and Maud de Beauchamp.1 He married Lady Roese de Clare, daughter of Richard de Clare, 5th Earl of Gloucester and Matilda de Lacy, in 1270.3 He died in 1297 at Ghent, Belgium.2
He was created 1st Lord Mowbray [England by writ] on 24 June 1295.3
