Irene of Constantinople was born circa 1172. She was the daughter of Isaak II Angelus, Emperor of Constantinople.1 She married Philip von Hohenstaufen, Duke of Swabia, son of Friedrich I 'Barbarossa' Hohenstaufen, Holy Roman Emperor and Beatrice de Bourgogne, on 25 May 1197. She died on 27 August 1208.
