Godefroid I, Comte de Namur was born in 1068.2 He was the son of Albert III, Comte de Namur and Ida von Sachsen.2 He married Ermensinde I von Luxemburg, daughter of Konrad I Graf von Luxemburg and Clémence de Poitou-d'Acquitaine, Comtesse de Longwy, in 1109.2 He died on 19 August 1139.2
He gained the title of Comte de Namur.
