Amadeo III Conte di Savoia was born circa 1092. He was the son of Umberto II Conte di Savoia and Gisèle de Bourgogne-Comté.2,3 He married Maud d'Albon, daughter of Guigues III, Comte d'Albon and Mathilde de Hauteville-Sicile, Comtesse de Toulouse, in 1123.3 He died on 30 August 1148.
He succeeded to the title of Conte di Savoia in 1103.1
