Initially buried at the Old Whiting Cemetery that was located at 121st and Front St. near Lakeshore. Cemetery land was purchased from Henry Schrage by the Standard Oil Company in 1913. The Cemetery and all internments were removed and place with other NWI cemeteries. Families that came forward to claim remains from the Old Whiting Cemetery were offered plots in surrounding Hammond cemeteries. This person is on master list of re-burials as being placed in this cemetery, burial location unknown due to shoddy record keeping.
