SULPHUR -- Funeral services for Era Spell Morgan, 89, will be at 2 p.m. today, Jan. 12, in Hixson Funeral Home. The Rev. Richard Hoffpauir will officiate. Burial will be in Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly. Visitation is from 8:30 a.m. Mrs. Morgan died Monday, Jan. 10, 2000, in Sulphur. She was a native of Ridge and had lived in Sulphur for 59 years. She worked for West Calcasieu-Cameron Hospital for 26 years. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church. Survivors include one son, Donald Morgan of Sulphur; two daughters, Bernice Jordan and Mrs. Clifford (Vernell) Thibodeaux, both of Sulphur; one brother, William ''Bill'' Spell of Carlyss; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
