Burial
Obituary: Funeral Services will be Saturday, April 16, 2011 at 3:00 PM in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne, La. for Isma S. Hoffpauir, 98, who passed away Thursday, April 14, 2011 at 8:40 PM at her home in Indian Bayou. Pastor "T" will be officiating the services on Saturday. Survivors include one daughter, Sandra and husband Don Petry of Indian Bayou; three sons, David M. and wife Barbara Hoffpauir of Kaplan, John K. and wife Genia Hoffpauir of Cold Spring, TX and Neville "Mickey and wife Barbara Hoffpauir of Indian Bayou; one sister, Doris S. Harrington of Dayton, TX., and one brother, Norman and wife Bobbie Sarver of Pineland, TX; eighteen grandchildren, thirty seven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Hoffpauir, one son, Janice Hoffpauir; one daughter, Gloria Faye Hoffpauir; one grand-daugher, Krista Dorsey; her parents, Ernest and Cora L. Sarver; five brothers, William, Delaney, Wilmer, R. C. and Rayford Sarver; two sisters, Pearl St. Claire and Inez Sarver. Ms. Isma was a loving mother; mother-in-law, grandmother, sister and aunt. She loved spending time with her family. She took much enjoyment in teaching her grandchildren to cook and bake. Some of her favorite hobbies were canning and gardening. Visitation will be Friday, April 15, 2011 at 5:00 PM till 10:00 PM then Saturday, 8:00 AM till time of services. Burial will be in the Indian Bayou Methodist Church Cemetery in Indian Bayou under the direction of Duhon Funeral Home, L.L.C. of Rayne.
