CROWLEY - Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 30, 2000 at Ebenezer Nazarine Church for Inez Sarver Sarver, 80, who died at 2 p.m. Friday, July 28, at her Crowley residence. The Rev. Joe Talhelm will officiate.
Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery. Mrs. Sarver was known for her loving and caring attitude to everyone. She was a wonderful cook and loved to feed anyone who stopped by her home.
She is survived by her husband, Mims Sarver of Crowley; four sons, J.B. Sarver, Lonnie Sarver, Bubba Sarver and Don Sarver, all of Crowley, and an honorary son, Glenn Joffrion; four daughters, Gwen Sarver Petry of Crowley, Peggy Sarver Smith and Linda Foreman, both of Rayne; and Terry Billeaud of Scott; one brother, Norman Sarver of Bronson, Texas; three sisters, Isso Hoffpauir of Indian Bayou, Pearl St. Claire of Hitchcock, Texas, and Doris Harrington of Dayton, Texas; and 27 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Sarver was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Cora Sarver; two grandchildren, Kirk Sarver and Monica Petry; five brothers, William, Wilmer, Delaney, R.C. and Ray Sarver.
Pallbearers will be Lonnie Dale Sarver, Guy Sarver, Shane Bertrand, Nicholas Sarver, Dustin Sarver, Beau Billeaud, Kori Sarver and Joshua Billeaud.
Visitation was from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and continues from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. today at the funeral home.
Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home of Crowley is in charge of arrangements.
