Sarah Ruby Killough

(20 Jan 1909 - 26 Feb 1986)

Sarah Ruby was working as a waitress in Raywood, Texas when she met Clyde Collins in 1925. They were married three years later in 1928. She worked for years for the Lake Jackson Methodist Church on weekends as well as babysitting children in her home during the week days. Ruby's tombstone says she was born in 1909 but per the 1910 census she was born in 1907. (notes by Terry Morris)
