Richard Hoffpauir, Sr.'s son was burned in a house fire. His obit. reads:
Richard H. Hoffpauir, Jr., 40, of Nederland died Tuesday at his home. A native and lifelong resident of Nederland, he was a construction worker and mechanic.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Indian Bayou Cemetery in Indian Bayou, La. under the direction of Pat. A. Riley Funeral Home in Nederland. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his parents, Richard and Elnora Hoffpauir of Nederland; two sons, Trey Hoffpauir of Nederland and Macon Hoffpauir of Mauriceville; and a brother, Tim Hoffpauir of Nederland.

Richard, Sr. is the son of James Emery Hoffpauir & Fadra Morgan.
Elnora was a Ledoux from Crowley.
They had services last night at the funeral home.
