Juanita DuBose

Juanita Dubose Tarver, 84, died Saturday, April 27, 2002, in a local hospital.
She was a native of Indian Bayou and was a resident of Lake Charles. She was a member of the Country Girls Sewing Club. She was a member of St. Luke-Simpson United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women.
Survivors include two sons, Steven Tarver and Harry Tarver, both of Lake Charles; two daughters, Bobbie Lavigne of Hemphill, Texas, and Sandra J. Wilson of Arlington, Texas; one brother, Don Dubose of Austin, Texas; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 1, in St. Luke-Simpson United Methodist Church. The Rev. Jim Humphreys will officiate. Burial will be at 1 p.m. in Indian Bayou Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home. Visitation is 4-7 p.m. today and 4-7 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home and from 9 a.m. Wednesday in the church. (LCAP 4/29/02)
