Obituary: Willie Miller Duhon, Jr., 85, of Winnie, died Tuesday, January 14, 2014. He was born on May 10, 1928 in Liberty, to Eula Gladys Hoffpauir and Willie Miller Duhon, Sr., and had been a resident of the Winnie area since 1944. He worked as an engineer technician in the petrochemical industry. Survivors include sons, Darrell Duhon and his wife, Ren?, of Leesville, Louisiana; Michael Duhon and his wife, Cathy, of Hankamer; and Glen Duhon of Winnie; grandchildren, Wesley Duhon and his wife, Nicole; Melanie Duhon and Tyler Parke; and their mother, Sabrina; Clint Allen and his wife, Holly; April Randi and her husband, Bruce; Ashley Duhon; Ashley Nance; and Tanner Nance great-grandchildren, Aiden Duhon, Eli Allen, Lola Allen, Lyla Allen, Raylee Randi, Shaylinn Summers, and Carlton Summers; sister-in-law, Carolyn Duhon; brother, Robert Duhon and his wife, Ann of Rogers, Arkansas; sister, Lola Landers of Roanoke, Virginia. Mr. Duhon was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Gloria; daughter, Sharon Janell Duhon; and brothers, Donald and Francis Duhon. A gathering of Mr. Duhon's family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, January 17, 2014, at Broussard's, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. His funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 18, 2014, at First United Methodist Church, 1708 State Highway 124, Winnie, with interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Winnie.
