Larkin Stansbury

Larkin Stansbury, 52, of Indian Bayou died at his home at 8 PM on October 5th, after an extended period of failing health and a sudden collapse a short period before he died. Funeral services will be conducted from the Methodist church at Ebenezer on Wednesday afternoon upon hte arrival of his son, Eugene Stansbury, who is in the armed services, and burial will be made in the adjacent cemetery at Ebenezer. Mr. Stansbury was born at Indial Bayou and has lived his entire life in that community. He is survived by his wife, three sons, John of Crowley; Eugene, in the armed service of the United States; Harold, living at Indian Bayou; three daughters, Mrs Eric Stutes of the rural section south of Crowley; Mrs, Eula LAndry and Miss Patsy Stansbury of Bunkie, LA; one brother, James Stansbury of Crowley, one half-brother, Brinton Hargrove and one half-sister, Mrs Edward Faulk, both of the rural section south of Crowley; and a number of lesser relatives.
