SSDI indicates that this SS # was issued to Effie in Louisiana, and the last known address was Crowley, LA, and the death benefit was sent to Crowley, LA. However, there is no certainty that the Effie Hoffpauir listed in SSDI was the same Effie who was the daughter of Nathan Hoffpauir.
Although the cemetery records say Effie died in 1948, it is possible that this is an error. she is on record as marrying for the second time in 1948, and the SSDI for someone with the same name indicates a year of death of 1984.
Further complicating this issue, the obituary of her Mother, Leola Wagner, lists one surviving daughter married to an E. C. Laurents. This could either be Effie who married Curtis Laurents (perhaps his first name is E___), or it could be Nora who married Curley Laurent. More data is needed.
