At the time of her Mother's death, Dorothy and Paul were listed as living in Esterwood, LA.CROWLEY --Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, 2003, in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Hardy Ulmet officiating and assisted by the Rev.A. Ray Faulk and the Rev. John Patterson, for Dorothy Hoffpauir, 68, of Estherwood, who died at 7:20 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2003, in the Lafayette General Medical Center. Burial was in Ebenezer Methodist Cemetery in Ebenezer. She is survived by her husband, Stanley Hoffpauir, Estherwood; one son, Russell Petry, Lee's Summit, Mo.; two daughters, Patricka Ulmet, Estherwood, and Pamela Petry, Austin, Texas; one brother, James Melvin Hoffpauir, Estherwood; four grandchildren, Hardy Justin Ulmet, Kara Ulmet LeBleu, Tamela Millin and Candace New; and three great-grandchildren. Dorothy earned a bachelor's and a master's degree from Northwestern State University in Oklahoma. She taught elementary grades in Acadia Parish for many years.
