Crowley-Post Signal Tuesday, April 11, 2000 (Mrs. Della Hoffpauir) Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Tuesday, April 11, 2000,at the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley for Mrs. Della Hoffpauir, 67, who died at 12:55 pm Sunday, April 9, 2000, at Our Lady Of Lourdes Hospital in Lafayette. Father Joseph Greenwell will officiate for the services. Burial will be held in Abshire Cemetery in rural Kaplan.
Visitation will be observed until the time of services on Tuesday. Survivors include her husband, James Hoffpauir of Crowley, four sons, Eddie Hoffpauir and wife, Pamela of Crowley; Ernest Wayne Hoffpauir and wife, Tracy of Crowley, Michael Hoffpauir of Alvin, Texas and Jerry Hoffpauir and wife, Ramona of Crowley; three daughters, Gloria H Welch Suire and husband, Steve of Crowley, Barbara Touchet and husband, Dwight of Kaplan, and Stacey Primeaux and husband Tim of Kaplan; ; three sisters, Rena Vincent and husband, John Fred of Kaplan, Genevia LaPoint of Gueydan and Codrey Monceaux and husband, Dalton of Crowley; 29 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Tammy Hoffpauir; her parents, Augustine Gaspard, and Anthony Hargrave; two sisters, Lucille Gaspard and Anna Mae Lemaire; two brothers, Sulie Hargrave and Ben Hargrave; and a brother-in-law, Meonce "P T" LaPoint.
Visitation will be observed until the time of services on Tuesday.
