CROWLEY - Funeral services for Glenn Allen Valdetero, 57, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2002, at St. Michael Catholic Church in Crowley. The Rev. George Heffner will officiate at the funeral services. Interment will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery in Mowata.
Glenn Allen Valdetero passed away at 6:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 4, 2002, at a Church Point hospital. He served with the U.S. Air Force in Vietnam. Mr. Valdetero is survived by his wife, Charlotte Hensgens Valdetero, of Crowley; his father, Stan Valdetero, of Kinder; his stepmother, Jane Valdetero, of Kinder; two sons, Shane Valdetero and Craig Valdetero, both of Crowley; two daughters, Erika Valdetero and Amanda Valdetero, both of Crowley; and one sister, Debbie Doré, of Crowley. He was preceded in death by his mother, Elaine Hoffpauir Valdetero; and one brother, Michael Valdetero.
Pallbearers will be Jake Doré, Karl Hensgens, Jacob Dorr, Ryan Vidrine, William Hensgens and Matt Lambousy.
Honorary pallbearers are Darrel Simon, Robert Hoffpauir, Bill Moore, John Heath, Randall McElwee, Scott Sinitiere and Donald Martel. A rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. today.
Visitation hours will be observed from 2 p.m. until 10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. Wednesday until time of the services. Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home of Crowley is in charge of the arrangements.
