Funeral services will be held at 3 pm Wed. Nov 18 at Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home for Michael Lyn Valdetero, 55, who died on Sunday, Nov. 15, l998 in Katy, Texas. Rev Antoine "Uncle Junior" Valdetero will officiate for the services. Burial will be held in Ebenezer Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Ann Valdetero of Katy; one daughter, Brandi Lyn Valdetero of Katy; one son, Blaine Valdetero of Louisiana; his father and stepmother, Mr and Mrs Stanford Valdetero of Kinder; one brother, Glenn Valdetero of Crowley; one sister, Debbie Dore' of Crowley; three nieces and three nephew.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Elaine Valdetero. (Elaine was the daughter of Hiram Hoffpauir and Susie Faulk)
Mr. Valdetero was born on March 24, l943 in Crowley, La, to Stanford and Elaine HOFFPAUIR Valdetero. He married Ann Malone on April 15, l965, in Crowley. He was a charter member of St. Andrews Methodist Church in Baton Rouge.
Pallbearers will include his three nephews, Jake Dore', Craig Valdetero and Shane Valdetero; brother-in-law Bill Dore'.
