Individual Details

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p. m. in Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel for Herschel Blakeman Wilder, 84, who died at his residence Tuesday. Rev. Penn Morgan will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Survivors include one son, Timothy David Wilder of Crowley; his wife, June Wriborg Wilder of Crowley; two brothers, Sam Wilder of New Orleans and George Wilder of Vidor, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Barbara Bailey of Jennings and Mrs. Peggy Copeland of Beaumont, Texas; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Mr. Wilder was preceeded (sic) in death by his wife Clara Lucille Werner Wilder, a brother, Jack Wilder and a sister, Mrs. Beverly Dommert.
Mr. Wilder was a member of the First Methodist Church of Crowley and a farmer in Acadia Parish for a majority of his life. (The Crowley Post-Signal, Crowley, Louisiana, September 1, 1995, p. 1)
