Burial
Obituary: Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 31, 2010 for Annie Mae Sarver Sarver, 93, who died July 28, 2010 at Southwind Assisted Living. Rev. Charlie Floyd will be officiating for the services. The family is requesting visiting hours to be held Friday at Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday at Ebenezer Methodist Church from 8 a.m. to the time of service. Interment will be in Ebenezer Cemetery. Annie was born September 29, 1916 in Indian Bayou. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. Annie loved sewing, gardening, and cooking for family. Loved traveling with family and friends. Annie Mae leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, Louis "Buddy" Sarver, Jr. and his wife Joyce of Crowley; three grandchildren, Chris Sarver and his wife Bernie of Crowley, Becky Morgan of Duson, and Brent Sarver and his wife, Donna of Branch; ten great-grandchildren, Kysha Gauthreaux, Robin Sarver, Justin Sarver, Mitchell Morgan, Jonathan Morgan, Katie Morgan, Matthew Sarver, Philip Sarver, Annie Sarver, and Sarah Sarver; nine great-great-grandchildren, Griffin, Grant, Gibson and Gabriel Gauthreaux, Anthony, Bailey, and Ashton Dugas, Madisyn Morgan, and Lane-Matthew Sarver; two sisters, Irick Bertrand of Crowley, and Betty Fontenot of Indian Bayou; and one brother, Douglas Sarver of Bunkie. She is preceded in death by her husband, Louis Sarver, Sr., her parents, Lester and Beulah Sarver, one sister, Audrey Romero; and three brothers, Horace, Elmer, and Artie Sarver.
