WELSH - Mrs. Eperson Foreman, 100 year old Welsh resident, died at 12:10 p.m. Tuesday, on her birthday, at the home of a daughter. The body will remain at the Miguez funeral home in Lake Arthur, Rev. W. P. Howell, pastor of the First Methodist church of Lake Arthur and Rev. Don Risinger, pastor of the First Methodist Church of Welsh, will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery.
Mrs. Foreman, the former Orelia Meaux, was born in Mermentau. She moved to Welsh 17 years ago from Jennings.
Survivors are one son, Reuben Foreman of Crowley; seven daughters, Mrs. A. C. Breaux of Jennings, Mrs. Louie Broussard and Mrs. Betty Ravey, both of Lake Arthur, Mrs. Newton Hoffpauir of Lake Charles, Mrs. Raymond Spell and Mrs. A. J. Brooks, both of Baton Rouge, and Mrs. Saul Trahan of Welsh; two brothers, Johnny Meaux of Creole and Bryant Meaux of Port Neches, Tex.; three sisters, Mrs. E. T. Smith and Mrs. John Henderson, both of Nederland, TX., and Mrs. Austin Davis of Cameron: 28 grandchildren, 58 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
