Services for Mr. C. Richard Hoffpauir will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, 2002, at First United Methodist Church, Baton Rouge with the Rev. Chris Andrews officiating. Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Park, Baton Rouge under the direction of Rabenhorst Funeral Home, Baton Rouge. Mr. Hoffpauir, 67, of Prairieville died at 11:45 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 10, 2002, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. Mr. Hoffpauir was a retired United Methodist Minister. He served as superintendent of the Baton Rouge and Alexandria Districts of the United Methodist Church. He served in numerous churches in Louisiana including Lafayette First Palestine, Franklin First, Natchitoches First, Munholland Memorial and Henning Memorial United Methodist Churches. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Norris and Crissie Bourne Hoffpauir; five sisters, Doris Ault, Lois Hoffpauir, Sylvia Hoffpauir, Mildred Hoffpauir, and Mabel Nevill; and two brothers, infant Walter Hoffpauir and Carl Hoffpauir. Survivors include his wife, Janet D. Hoffpauir; two brothers, Winfred Hoffpauir and wife Norma of Gueydan; father and mother-in-law, Paul O. and Betty Dutcher of DeRidder; sister-in-law, Paula Walker and husband Kenneth of Pollock; brother-in-law, David P. Dutcher and wife Judy of Austin, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews and their families. Pallbearers will be the clergy of the United Methodist Church. Visitation will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2002, from 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. and from 12:30 p.m. Thursday until time of services at First United Methodist Church.
