Individual Details
Margaret MOORE
(1698 - 1752)
She was a descendant of the Rev John Moore, whose immediate ancestors were of Benenden in Kent, England, and settled in Ireland as a result of Wyatt's Rebellion, 1554. In Ireland the Moores were created Viscounts of Brogheda and Barons of Mellifont. The Moores intermarried with the Loftus family and so became connected with Robert George who came to New England as governor in 1623, and doubtless influenced some of his relatives to follow.
