HARTFORD CITY - Beatrice Marie Briles, 95, went to be with the Lord on November 23, 2005 at 2:43 p.m. Wednesday at Millers Merry Manor Nursing Home where she had made her home for the past 5 years.She was born in Gas City on November 20, 1910 to the late Glenn and Hulda Jane (Goble) Stephenson. Beatrice was a member of the Roll United Methodist Church in Roll. She was a member of WSCS-Women Society Christian Service. She loved flowers. She will be sadly missed by her 2 sons, Glenn Jay (wife-Phyllis) Briles, Keystone, Stephen W. (wife-Linda) Briles, Hartford City; 4 daughters, Joan Conners, Hartford City, Beverly Jean (husband-Robert) Herring, Upland, Rita Kay (husband-Rev. Jerry) Morris, El Paso, Texas, Beth Ellen (husband-Ron) Bennett, Hartford City (Roll); daughter-in-law, Mary Ann Briles, Fowlerton; 38 grandchildren; 55 great grandchildren; 31 great great grandchildren; sister, Virginia Poppy, Campton, MI; several nieces & nephews.She was also preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Henley Briles, who died in 1950; a son, William Lee Briles; 2 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; 2 sisters, Thelma Johnson, Florine Jones; and brother, Fred Stephenson.Funeral Service will be Monday, November 28, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Keplinger Funeral Home 509 North High Street in Hartford City with Rev. Stephen Landis and Rev Jerry Morris officiating.Visitation on Sunday, November 27, 2005 from 3-8 and Monday, November 28, 2005 from 9-11 at the funeral home.Interment will follow at Park Cemetery, Fairmount.Pall Bearers will be Eric Briles, Mike Herring, David Herring.
