One can't help but wonder if "Doc" White who married Nannie Briles might have been related to the White family into which the mother (Sarah White) of the husband (David Harris) of Mattie Briles (Nannie's sister) married. In addition, one must also wonder if either of these White families might be related to the family of Giles Wesley White, Sr., who married Fannie Lois Graves, the half-sister of Worthie Harwood Briles, the son of Nannie and Mattie's brother Enoch Elwood Briles. More research needed here!
