Individual Details

Bonnie Bell Briles

(29 Oct 1922 - 31 Jan 2014)

Bonnie's older brother Worthie Elwood Briles recalls that his family's third home in Texas was in the Glendarden area, which was in the southern part of Fort Worth and south of the old Masonic Home, which was an orphanage. Elwood recalls that they lived there about a year when his sister Bonnie Bell was born on October 29, 1922. He thinks that the family lived there for a couple of more years before moving to the "5-Acre Place." That would mean that the family moved to the "5-Acre Place" in about 1923 or 1924. See the "Note" for Worthie Elwood Briles for more information on the family's "5-Acre Place."

The list of attendees of the August 4, 1974 Briles Reunion indicates that Bonnie and her husband J. D. Spencer attended the reunion and and gives their address as 1195 Gunter in Beaumont, Texas.

Bonnie (like her brother Jack) inherited her father's artistic abilities: she has created a number of very good paintings, including at least one of the "5-Acre-Place."
