Death

TRINITY- Elizabeth Auman “Lib” Hunt, 82, entered into eternal rest on Monday, September 17th, 2018.
She was born on June 26, 1936 in High Point, to the late John Dallas and Maggie Cardwell Auman.  A resident of this area all of her life, she retired from the City of High Point, after 24 years of service, and was a member of Bales Wesleyan Church. Lib enjoyed camping and going to the mountains and the beach.  In addition to her parents, preceding her in death were her brother, James Dallas Auman and her sister, Margaret Louella Auman.
She is survived by her husband of 37 years; Donald “Don” Hunt of Asheboro; her children, Randy Chappel and his wife, Judy of Trinity, Cathy Haynes and her husband, Tony of Trinity; her step daughter, Teresa Hunt of Archdale; 3 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A service to celebrate Lib’s life will be held on Sunday afternoon, September 23rd, at 2 o’clock, in the chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale, with Pastor Carl Pulliam officiating. Interment will follow in Ebenezer Memorial Association Chapel Cemetery. Her family will receive friends on Saturday evening, September 22nd, from 6 until 8, at the funeral home.
