Notes
Death
Oscar Lee “Robin” Hunt, 84. The world’s greatest fisherman went home to be with our Lord on Sunday, November 22nd. He took his rod and tacklebox with him so he can fish forever in Heaven’s Lake. Robin was born September 9th, 1931, in Thomasville to Robert G. and Buelah Mae Hunt, a birthday he shared with his youngest brother, James. He lived the majority of his 84 years in Thomasville and built houses with his oldest brother, Richard. He was also a cabinet maker and truck driver, but his greatest passion was fishing. Whether on shore or on a boat, he was most at home with a rod in his hand. Visitation is from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday November 24th at J.C. Green Funeral Home in Thomasville. The service will be held Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2015, at Southside Baptist Church at 11 am, officiated by Tommy Sizemore. Jr., where Robin was a longtime member. Interment will be at Salisbury National Cemetery. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Barbara, his daughter Jatonna Hunt Garner and husband Lee, his son Warren Hunt and wife Wendy, and two granddaughters Devon "Doodle" and Dylan "Julie" Gailey.
