E-mail from Karen McIntrre dated 3/31/05 states she has a death certificate for John C. Bresee s/o Christopher and Agnes Rosman showing his death date as 11 Feb 1889 and he was 81 years 5 months and 2 days. That makes his birth date as 9 Sept 1808. See copy of "Transcript from the Register of Death" from Davenport Town Clerk.
1850 Census Delaware Co., NY shows John C. Brissee age 49 (born 1801) and wife Catherine age 37 and their family, per Pat Gilbert.
1834 John C. Brasee married first wife on 1 Oct. 1834 per Delaware Gazette (see Celinda Rathborn daughter of Gen. S, Rathborn); second wife then was Henrietta Waldruff; third wife was Catherine Olmstead. This is based on dates of birth of childern from Olmstead and the fact that Henrietta was second wife per e-mail from Karen McIntyre 14 Jan 00. See LDS film 860311, page 41.
