1654 moved to Huntington, Nassau Co., NY (near Cold Spring Harbor on Long Island) per the William R. Arthurs study. Per the Dorothy M. 1644 moved to Rehoboth, called the North Purchase, now Attleboro, MA, per the Dorothy M. Titus study.
1635 embarked from London on the ship Hopewell on 3 April 1635 with his wife and two sons, John age 8, and Edmond age 5, and was granted land in Brookline near the Muddy River. They lived there a few years then moved to Weymouth per the Dorothy M. Titus and William R. Arthurs studies and the Winthrop Society web page at www.winthropsociety.org/home.php. The Winthrop Society web page shows the family was from St. Katherines.
1624 marriage is per the William R. Arthurs study. That study included the following: "the New England Historical and Genealogical Register, Vol. 132, 1978 states: "The marriage on 24 June 1624 of Robert Titus and Anne Carter, recorded in the parish register of Watford may refer to the Robert and Hannah Carter of 'St. Katherines' who immigrated in the Hopewell..... Carter was very common in the sixteenth and seventeenth century Watford district and were the English kin of President Carter."
1600 birth year is ca 1600 and the location is per the William R. Arthurs study. Lived in St. Catherine's Parish near Stanstead Abbots Hertfordshire per that study.
