Per Phyllis Kinzie e-mail dated 21 July 2005 stating that Jerry Bresee may be Jeremiah Bresee who was born about 1823 and was in the Maryland, Otsego area in the 1850 census having a wife and two children: Naomi and Susan. In the 1870 census the family was in Brooklyn and now includes a Riensia age 17. He is later is listed as Rienzi A. and that may be what the 1870 name is supposed to say, but the A. got attached to the Riens. Maybe the A. is for Augustan. The Rienzi line moved to NJ.
