"Vital Records of Salisbury, MA, to the end of the year 1849" by the Topsfield Historical Society dated 1915, page 84: Sarah daughter of Joseph and Mary Eaton born on 20 May 1701 in Salisbury, MA, from records of the old Norfolk Co. Court book. Found online at LDS film #845110.

From American Ancestors "Legislators of the Massachusetts General Court, 1691-1780": Salisbury HR 1708-10, 12, 15, 24; Joseph Eaton selectman 1693, 95-97, 1700, 19-22; capt. 1710; M Mary French (1663-1725) in 1683 and Mary (Cheney) Worcester (1671-1759) in 1726, 11 ch; house carpenter, trapper, land speculator, farmer. As an active citizen of the town, he joined fellow townsmen in petitions to the legislature. In the 1724 HR, he was instrumental in presenting petitions for the relief of suffering citizens.
