Sinnett dated 1927, pages 1d-3d found at Heritage Quest Online: "Ancestor John Eaton and his wife Anne ? settled at Salisbury, MA prior to the winter of 1639. In that year his name first appears on the Proprietor's Book. There were several grants of real estate made by the "Freeman of Salisbury Unto John Eaton" from 1640 to 1646. He died Oct 29th, 1668, age 73 years."
