Sebastian "Loescher" Loscher Sr.

See "Koon and Coons Families of Eastern New York" by William Solyman Coons on page 280 and 288 found at Heritage Quest Online: Anna Maria Elisabeth Kuhn prob born abt 1670, married Sebastian or Bastian Loscher or Loescher, prob. about 1688. On June 11, 1709, she arrived at St. Catharines, England with a large family and among a shipment of 1745 Palatines. One authority claims that they arrived at Walworth May 27, 1709, and were thus listed. This family was enumerated there on June 15, 1709, and the husband was then called a Lutheran farmer, age 40 years, with wife (prob. age 39?), and with 5 sons ages 20, 14, 10, 8 and 6, and with 5 daughters ages 15,12, 6, 4,and 1. Another daughter named Maria Elisabeth was bpt. June 1, 1710, on board the ship "Midford" as they approached NY, the mother's name also being called Maria Elisabeth (West Camp Lutheran). Johan Jacob, Anna Margreet, Anna Lys, Anna Bastiaens, Hans Jury, and 5 (other) children, were on Capt. Bouwel's ship in the 2nd party in Holland in 1709 (Rotterdam Lists)
