Individual Details

Sebastian Loescher Jr.

(Bet 1688 and 1695 - Bef 1 Feb 1776)

1776 he made his will in June 1775 with his wife still living and named only 5 of their 12 known childern, and died before 1 Feb 1776. As his name was written "Litsier", "Lisser", etc., at Kinderhook, it is inferred that his ancestor was probably a French Protestant named Losier or La Sier, etc., who had fled to Germany for safety, per "Koon and Coons Families of Eastern New York" page 280 by William Solyman Coons found at Heritage Quest Online.

1747: "Sebastian Lescher and wife Elisabeth, Sp. for Sebastian, bp. Aug. 16, 1747, son of Jury Rossmann and Helena Rossmannin" (GT. D.R.). Helena was their dau.
