Isaac Tomlinson

See "The Connecticut Nutmegger" dated June 1993 pages 6-8 showing research that William Tomlinson was thought by author Orcutt to be a nephew of Henry and was nearly the same age as Jonas, and indeed, witnessed Jonas' inventory. As the Vital and Probate records show, this William Tomlinson had three sons... William Jr., John and Isaac. See "Henry Tomlinson and his descendants in America, with a few additional branches of Tomlinson, later from England" by Samuel Orcutt dated 1891 page 20 which miss states the parent of William Jr., John and Sergt. Isaac Tomlinson as Jonas and Hannah Tomlinson.

(g. s.); married (rec. Derby) 25 Mar. 1712, Patience Gaylord; perhaps dau. of Benjamin and Ruth (Williams) Gaylord of Windsor.

Ancestral File at the FHC shows him as the husband of Patience Taylor. Other sources shows her as Patience Gaylord.
