Captain Zachariah Hawkins

He served as captain in the Revolution and on the Committee of Inspection, to which he was appointed Dec. 11, 1775. A large monument marks his grave and commemorates his service in the American Revolution, per page 246 of "A Hawkins Genealogy 1638-1939, Record of the Descendants of Robert Hawkins of Charlestown, MA" by Ralph Clymer Hawkins published 1939.
