See "History and Genealogy of the families of Old Fairfield" by Donald L. Jacobus, FHC Film 599305 page 163 showing Thomas father of Edrea Hurlburt. Page 316 shows he was a black-smith who received land for his shop from his father in 1671. With his brother Joseph removed to Woodbury about 1678 and not long before his death settled in Fairfield. Thomas "Halliberth", the jail keeper at Fairfield, age 41, testified June 1692 in Disbrow trial.
