Ruth, as strange, reads Mass. Rec. I. 134, when her name was Eliz. and ch. (perhaps more than one) John, b. Nov. 1632, tho. the rec. calls the parents, Edward and Eliz. "Elder
childr." by order of Ct. 2 June 1635, to be dispos. of, leaves no doubt of *a former w. Perhaps the wid. was d. of John Masters, wh. in his will, 19 Dec. 1639, leaves handsome sum to his gr.ch. John L.
