1742 Mar 29th his will was proved per "Genealogies of the Families and Descendants of the Early Settlers of Watertown, MA" by Dr. Henry Bond, page 210. Therefore he must have died before that date.

In the "Watertown Genealogies" by Dr. Henry Bond dated 1860, on page 210 of this study, daughter Mary is not listed in the childern of William Fiske and Hannah Smith. On page 34 shows a Mary Fiske, wife of Eliezer Bigelow, as probably the daughter of Wiliam and Hannah (Smith) Fiske of Watertown. Mary's marriage to Eleazer Bigelow was recorded in the Weston town records, as "Mary Smith". Perhaps Mary resided with, or was adopted by some of her mother's relations in Weston, and was there known as a Smith. She was admitted, 1723-4, from the Watertown to the Weston church, as "Mary Fiske, alias Smith".
In the "Fiske and Fisk Family" by Frederick Clifton Pierce on page 92: Mary, daughter of William Fiske and Hannah Smith, was born 16 Jan 1698 and died 13 Dec 1702. This Mary died young.
