News Pub (ind)4 Sep 1875" The Evening News of Thursday, says:-Sergeant M'Donald officially informed the city coroner that a woman named Sarah K. Christy, wife of John Christy, publican, of York-street, died at an early hour on Thursday morning, at the residence of Alfred Joseph Cole, 242, Sussex-street, where she lived since the 31st ultimo. Previous to that date she stayed for a few weeks, at a house in Union-street, with a woman named Amelia Godberry, and during the whole of the time was drinking heavily. About noon on the 31st ultimo she went to bed, in a room , which she rented from Cole, and complained of faint ness. On the 1st instant she had a glass of brandy in the forenoon and a second one in the afternoon. She is reputed to be a woman of very intemperate habits, and was living apart from her husband, being allowed separate maintenance"
